What in this passage reminds you of the gospel?
If Jesus carved time out of His schedule to be alone with His Father to pray, then how much
more should we? How can we be more intentional to do this?
Jesus prioritizes the preaching of the gospel, though he still compassionately cared for people in
practical ways. How should we apply His model of ministry?
Why was this man’s leprosy so significant? In what ways can we relate to or identify with him?
Jesus often forbids the healed from telling others about their healing, but this man wasn’t able
to stay silent. Why might that be so?
The command to share the gospel is not a confusing one, so why are we often slow to obey it?
What are some ways we can be more like this leper and “spread the news?”
